Nathalie Verdière: Recent applications of functional equations in nonlinear dynamical systems
This talk addresses the use of functional equations obtained from computer algebra in a priori analysis of nonlinear dynamical systems. For several years, they were utilized to investigate the identifiability property but these equations have found new applications in recent years.
Two recent uses will be highlighted in this talk. The first one concerns the diagnosability of multiple faults in nonlinear dynamical systems, while the second one explores the potential reconstruction of specific variables of interest within nonlinear complex networks.
